Policies & Guidelines

I value your time and appreciate you valuing mine as well. These policies help ensure that each individual and family receives thoughtful, uninterrupted care.

Scheduling & Payment

Appointments are reserved specifically for you. Payment is due at the time of booking unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Cancellation & Rescheduling

Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Appointments canceled with less than 48 hours’ notice may be subject to a 50% fee.
Appointments canceled with less than 24 hours’ notice or missed appointments may be charged the full session fee, as that time has been reserved exclusively for you.

I understand that life—especially with children and illness—can be unpredictable. If an unexpected situation arises, please reach out as soon as possible, and I will always do my best to be reasonable and fair.

Follow-up Care

Follow-up appointments are intended for ongoing cases and are scheduled within six months of your previous appointment.

Acute Concerns

Acute consultations are designed for short-term or sudden concerns. Acute concerns are those that come on suddenly, have a clear beginning, and move through a natural course toward resolution.

Many families are surprised to learn that homeopathy can be helpful in a wide range of acute concerns, including situations where conventional care often focuses on managing symptoms. The goal is always to support the body’s natural healing response.

If symptoms persist or become more complex, a follow-up or full consultation may be recommended. We will remain in close contact throughout the acute phase, and I will guide you through next steps, including referral when appropriate.

Because acute care often requires timely dosing, it is very helpful to have a basic remedy kit on hand or a nearby source for obtaining remedies so treatment can begin without delay.

Scope of Practice

Emily Stein practices as a homeopathic educator and holistic health consultant. Information shared through consultations, classes, or written materials is for educational purposes only and is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
